UK - Three has launched pay per day mobile broadband service

[uswitch] Mobile broadband subscribers now have a new product to choose from, as Three has launched a pay per day package.

The provider believes the deal will be popular with iPad users and suchlike who do not want to commit to a rolling contract.

For £2, mobile broadband users will have a data allowance of 500Mb, which can either be purchased online or through a top-up voucher in store.

This level of data will accommodate around five hours of internet browsing, 500 emails and two four-minute video clips, the provider explained.

Three's Director of Mobile Broadband Joe Parker commented: "[It] is the ideal proposition for business travellers, iPad owners and students who have a fixed broadband connection at home but also want the flexibility of being able to snack on mobile broadband whilst away from their home."

Last month, Three won a number of mobile broadband awards for its customer service and reliable connectivity.
