Bulgaria to auction fourth wireless licence in July
Bulgaria will auction the country’s fourth mobile phone licence on 29 July, according to the country’s telecoms regulator the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC). Twelve companies, including Turkish cellco Turkcell, have expressed initial interest in acquiring the 20-year GSM licence. The tender will have a starting price of BGL38 million (USD30.25 million). Interested parties should express their interest in taking part in the auction by 11 July.
