[daily telegraph] The letter calls on the UK government to take practical steps to ensure the continued openness of the internet and protect the digital economy.
It is signed by internet entrepreneurs, company chief executives, and web freedom campaigners, including representatives from Skype and eBay.
The signatories call on the government to throw its weight behind net neutrality, by ensuring that traffic management is kept to a minimum and all content is treated equally. They also ask for greater investment in network capacity and underlying infrastructure, underpinned by a strong regulatory framework.
