Caribbean - a non-roaming offer

C&W offers roaming deal

Cable & Wireless has announced the introduction of home rate roaming for all of its mobile customers across the Caribbean.

From 15 August Cable & Wireless mobile customers travelling to other Caribbean countries in which Cable & Wireless operates will get the benefit of paying the same rate for outgoing calls as if the call was being made in the customer’s home country. This means that calls back home to family and friends will be charged at a local rate; calls to other Cable & Wireless countries will be charged at the regular International calling rate. Customers will also enjoy free incoming calls when roaming.

This offering comes as one of the first initiatives from the new, single pan–Caribbean Cable & Wireless entity now taking shape and signals the company’s intention of delivering on its promise to offer a more consistent and uniformed suite of products and services to all customers across the region.

Richard Dodd, CEO Cable & Wireless Caribbean said: “Our customers have been anticipating this news for a long time and we are very pleased that we can finally deliver.” He emphasised: “This will translate to unbeatable value, with associated savings for our Caribbean customers who have families and businesses spread throughout the region.
