[radio NZ international] The multi-national mobile phone operator, Digicel, has launched what it calls a state-of-the-art broadband service on Nauru.
The company says it’s set up an island-wide WiMAX broadband service giving 98 percent coverage.
Digicel says WIMAX will provide Nauru with a world-class broadband service that will help the provision of Government services, enhance education resources, encourage new business opportunities and allow greater interaction with the outside world.
