Mobile - BiC phone

Orange, BIC launch the BIC phone in France

France Telecom has announced the launch of the BIC phone, a cell phone that comes with 60 free minutes, the battery charged, and the SIM card already in place.

The company has informed that with the BIC phone, a user can pay on the go, with a pre-paid 'mobicarte' refill card. The phone has been launched as part of an ongoing partnership between Orange and BIC.

Available in citrus orange and lime green, the model focuses on cell phone basics: sending and receiving calls and SMS.

The company has informed that the handset will be sold over the counter, in major supermarkets and local convenience stores (tobacco shops, newsstands, train stations, airports…), and will be available as of the back to school period, at a suggested retail price of €49. The BIC phone will be sold in Metropolitan France only.
