[zdnet] An Australian survey has found that 80 percent of respondents support the mandatory ISP filtering legislation proposed by the country's government.
The poll, commissioned by ABC news programme Hungry Beast and conducted by McNair Ingenuity Research, chose 1,000 Australian phone numbers to call regarding the Australian government's proposed internet filter.
Other findings included 91 percent disagreeing with the government's current plan to make the list of restricted content websites secret, with respondents preferring the list to be made public.
