Vodafone suffers over EU plan to cut mobile charge rates
Vodafone yesterday recorded its worst day of the year as the FTSE 100 ended the week on the back foot.
The catalyst for the slide in the telecommunications group's shares was a note from Morgan Stanley reiterating its concerns about EU-wide plans to reduce mobile termination rates - the charge one mobile operator imposes on another for connecting calls to its network.
