New Zealand - 80% of numbers ported to 2degress came from Vodafone only 20% from TCNZ

[telecomsinsight] New Zealand's Telecommunications Carriers' Forum (TCF) has released new data regarding fixed-line and mobile number porting (MNP) trends for the June 2009-May 2010 period that show that the country's third mobile network operator, 2degrees, has been more successful in luring customers away from market leader Vodafone than from incumbent TCNZ, despite the latter's spate of 2G and 3G network outages in recent months. As 2degrees alters its data tariffs ahead of the launch of its own 3G service, BMI considers why Vodafone customers in particular are prone to switch networks.
